For Sienna, love and art are perilous games. Is she ready to take that gamble?
Sienna is a beautiful, talented artist poised on the precipice of soaring into the glamorous, yet cutthroat Manhattan art scene.
Dave Hightower is a hooked-up, handsome heir to the hippest gallery in NYC, Gallery Hightower.
Erik is the live drawing model with his sizzling green eyes fixed only on Sienna.
Three’s a crowd, so Sienna must make a choice: date Dave and ride the fast track to landing a show at Gallery Hightower and hobnobbing with the art glitterati, or follow her heart and take a chance with Erik, the stunning male model who’s stealing her heart. But Erik has some worrisome secrets, and who in their right mind would make live modeling their career?
Dare Sienna throw away her chances of hitting it big to follow her heart?

Review
This was a great story.  I loved the surprise twist, and the story was wrapped up pretty nicely.  Although, I did think it ended a little sudden, could've gone a little bit longer.  Felt like maybe the ending was rushed?  The author would go into pretty good detail about painting and things she wanted to do to do, but when it came to actually doing them it cut short.

Review of Cowboys & Kisses by Sasha Summers

Allie had big plans for the future. Falling for a cowboy wasn’t part of it.
1. Get out of Black Falls Texas - aka Redneck Hell
(Graduation was eight months away. After that, she was out of there.)
2. Avoid Wyatt Holcomb at all costs.
(Except he was everywhere and kind of hard to ignore since he was hot - and a really nice guy.)
3. Avoid her parents.
(Shouldn’t be too hard to do since her father hated her and her mother pretended nothing was wrong.)
4. Stop thinking about Wyatt.
(Which would be a lot easier if he wasn’t so sweet… and he’d keep his shirt on.)
5. Decide what she really wants.
(Instead of holding onto the past and the guilt.)

Maybe falling for a cowboy could work after all?

OMG, I loved this book!  It's interesting how a book can be pretty hot without an actual sex scene.  This book wasn't just hot though, it was also sweet, intense, funny...pretty amazing.  I debated whether or not I should give it a 5, I may just change my mind by the time I post it Amazon, B&N, and Goodreads.  Depends on how well the story sticks in my head.  I hope I get to read more of Sasha's work!  Gotta love an author who doesn't just stick to one genre.  Keeps it interesting.  I know she did pretty awesome for YA, be fun to see how she does in everything else.

Sasha is part gypsy. Her passions have always been storytelling, history, romance, and travel. She writes lyrical romantic fantasy, steamy contemporary romance, sci-fi romance, and young adult romance. Her first play was written for her Girl Scout troupe. She's been writing ever since. She loves getting lost in the worlds and characters she creates; even if she frequently forgets to run the dishwasher or wash socks when she's doing so. Luckily, her family is super understanding and supportive.
